Needleless Vial Admixture device with Lipid/Alcohol Resistant Check Valve Port

The Vial Adapter is a single-use needle-free device. Primary purpose is to enable a safe, sterile, and efficient method for reconstituting drugs and transferring them from a primary vial to an intravenous (IV) bag prior to patient administration.The Spike tip and ears, which pierce the rubber of the vial, ensure complete closure of the vial. And the vial transfer spike features a specialized check valve that is both lipid-resistant and alcohol-resistant, ensuring a reliable, safe and leak-proof seal.

 

 

Feature Function Benefit
Needleless Access Allows access to a vial without a conventional needle. Prevents sharps injuries; enables repeated, sterile entry into multi-dose vials.
Lipid & Alcohol Resistant Check Valve A one-way valve connects the spike body. Prevents backflow and spillage. Unaffected by common solvents like alcohol (used for cleaning) and lipid-based solutions. Ensures a secure, leak-proof connection. Maintains integrity when exposed to harsh chemicals or corrosive drug formulations.
Universal Connectivity Male Luer-lock fitting at the proximal end. Female port for receiving a dispensing pin/vial adapter. Allows direct attachment to any Luer-lock syringe (for aspiration/jet injection) and any standard IV administration set.
Material Safety Manufactured from medical-grade polymers specified to be free of DEHP and natural rubber latex. Prevents potential adverse reactions in patients with sensitivities or specific clinical concerns (e.g., neonates, pregnant women).
